Thanks to all. I found the scripts right after I sent the note.
patience....

The goodies directory was not on my client which is why I didn't see
them. Got em from the server.

Thanks again,

This is a frequently asked question. The trick is the word "notify" which
is kind of deceiving.=20
It is used for both pre and post processing for NetBackups.
I suggest starting in the sysadmin guide.=20
I also suggest searching the knowledge database as there are some
scripts posted.
Here is a link to another usergroup
http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/cgi-bin/htsearch

Here is the layout of appendix C in the 4.5 Admin Guide:

NB5.1 MP1 - Windows 2003=20

I am still searching, but is there a way for a client to pre and post
stuff for a backup that is run by Netbackup Scheduler?

I'd like the client to stop some services at backup start and restart
after the backup stops.=20

I know I can script the backup as a manual backup, but I was trying to
see if you can do it when its scheduled by Netbackup.

Thanks=20
