That's never worked for me.

The manuals say this:

VSS USER DATA: (Windows Server 2003 only)
VSS OTHER: (Windows Server 2003 only)
DISASTER_RECOVERY:\ (Windows 2008, 2008 R2, and Windows 7 only).

They don't say that VSS USER DATA: and VSS OTHER: savesets used to work 
(finish successfully), even on a Win2008 R2 server, with NW 7.6.2, and now 
does not work on Win2008 R2 any longer, if using NW 8 client.

It's really only an issue if you manually list these VSS savesets in a 
client definition.
