We have deployed several Cisco Network Analysis Modules (NAM) in our 6500
switches. NAMs are basically LINUX servers on a blade that slide into a
Cisco 6500 switch. These LINUX blades can be programmed to be various types
of network service modules. In the case of a NAM the service provided is a
sniffer. It really is very cool.

Now for the real question. Since I run NetView on LINUX the CiscoWorks
integration does not work so my CiscoWorks will not update NetView. What I
am looking for is the oid_to_type and oid_to_sym entries for these NAMs. I
can not find anything on the Cisco site. Below are partial oid_to_type
entries for the NAMs which include the OIDs. I was wondering if some kind
soul who has a non-LINUX NetView install with the CiscoWorks integration
installed would be kind enough to email me the entries from oid_to_type and
oid_to_sym.

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.3.1.1.2.223:cisco Systems::           # WS-X6380-NAM
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.3.1.1.2.914:cisco Systems::           # WS-SVC-NAM-1
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.3.1.1.2.291:cisco Systems::           # WS-SVC-NAM-2
