We also have installed the BS450's in a cascaded stack configuration and have
encountered the same issue with the LEDs.

This is a known issue, documented in the 'Release notes for Optivity Network
Network Management System 8.1.1 for ....' on pg. 27, 'Expanded View Known
Problems'.

We use Bay Network's BS450 and managed them in the past via the Device Mgr
application of Optivity NMS 8.1.1 for Netview. After the 450's were upgraded
with the CASCADE option, we manage them now using Tools -> Optivity Views ->
Expanded View.
The new "View" application seems to have trouble correctly displaying the
450 LED's (or is not displaying them at all). Is this a known problem or my
own fault?
