Patch them to 6.5.3.1 first since 6.5.3 has a remotely exploitable security hole.
A status 13 on a WS08 server seems to mean that it's not using VSS. Set the host open file agent to either disable open file management or force it to use VSS. It seems to want to use VSP which doesn't exist on WS08.
