Subject: [Veritas-bu] Windows GUI, NBU 6.5, and a firewall
Does ANYONE here understand what is needed in order for a team to access
a Netbackup 6.5.x Master Server via a Windows workstation with the
Netbackup 6.5 Windows GUI installed?
Server BIRD is behind a firewall.
BIRD is a master server and a media server.
There are 3 support teams that span various support roles for backup
server BIRD.
There is a firewall that seperates the support teams and master backup
server BIRD.
We use X11 Forwarding for most access, but 2 support teams aren't
allowed Unix logins and are restricted to using the Windows Netbackup
GUI.
I understand that we have ports:
13782, 13783, 13720, 13724
for sure and maybe 1556???
What else do I need to do in order to get this working?
