Hello Steve,
With out netbackup 6.5.1 system we have listed a choice of
Linux, RedHat2.4
And
Linux, RedHat2.6
And with our red hat 5 system the Linux, RedHat2.6 option seems
to work.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Redhat 5 and Netbackup
Guru’s
I have a Redhat 5 system that I can’t install Netbackup to. The choices
in the GUI are Redhat 4 or Redhat 6 and neither one will install on the Redhat
5 client. I get the error that I am trying to install incorrect
platform/Binaries… Am I correct in assuming that this means Redhat 5 was
never supported in Netbackup?? I am doing this from a 6.5.1 Master Solaris 8
