I am attempting to use the new "Disaster Recovery"
Catalog backup method to back up and restore catalogs
using a Disk storage unit. The disk storage unit I am
backing up to is a UNC path, and the backup works.
But when I attempt to use the "disaster recovery"
wizard on the restore target (which at this point I've
renamed to the original hostname), I am getting an
error 83. The "suberror" is "bp_sts_open_disk_failed:
error 13." The specific lines in bpdm are:
15:21:01.656 [3868.1264] <4> pa-backup: STSBasicDisk:
LSU \\pa-iprstage-01\catbackup does not exist.
15:21:01.656 [3868.1264] <4> pa-backup: STSBasicDisk:

Is anyone doing catalog backups and DR restores
to/from UNC paths? Will it work? Do you know what
the errors above mean? I've set the share to
Everyone/FullControl, and can make files in it.
TIA,
Fred
