Odd....I've had similar misconfigurations, thanks to autoconf/configwizard, and
what I experienced, was a tape getting loaded into a drive,the drive going
"DOWN", then another tape in another drive, that drivegoing "DOWN", repeatedly
untill all drive were down, but no tapes wereused.
