[Veritas-bu] Is there a Unix command to eject a tape from a R obot

No, not a *unix* command - you can go through the tldtest utility but it's
clunky.
You can eject it using Netbackup utilities and it's very nice...
vmchange -res -m $tapenum -mt $tapetype -rh $robhost \
-rt $robtype -rn $robnum -rc1 $robslot -e -sec 1
Make sure to update the inventory afterward as a safety. If there's an
eject failure and you don't, Netbackup still thinks the tape is out of
library.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Is there a Unix command to eject a tape from a
Robot
Does anyone know if there is a Solaris command in Netbackup to eject a tape
from
a library (e.g. like ejecting a volume from the Robot using the Java
console).
I am trying to write a perl script to automatically eject the Full or used
tapes
to be sent offsite.
Thanks,
Chris.
