Hello,
We're seeing situations where backup jobs fail with a '96' (unable to alocate
new media), and when new tapes
from the same pool are imported into the silo to satisfy the deficiency and the
job re-ran, the job does not use
any of the old tapes from the previous run.
What is happening here? Why are those tapes being ignored in the second run?
The situation results in,
for example, a job requiring 10 tapes failing because only 9 tapes from that
pool were in the silo - in the next run,
10 new tapes will need to be imported, not just one.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
