Hi Mark,

Greetings from ExperianUK!

I would have thought the bpstart_notify script on the client would be a good
place to start? It's not how we do it here. (DBA's run RMAN scipts to
backup disk-to-disk and then I back up the target disk as a flat file.)

Cheers - Tim

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Triggering RMAN backup via the NB scheduler

Isn't there a way to trigger the rman script for our oracle backup from the
Netbackup scheduler rather than via cron? Anybody know it?
