I am trying to restore a Netware client from a W2K Master. Other Netware
client restores have succeeded but we are getting the same failure on a
particular server.
The master errors with Error 5 - host is unreachable. From the logs on the
Master we can see that it connects to the client. The logs on the netware
client indicate connection has been established. A socet is opened and
closed, the restore goes no further.
We have successfuly restored a file from a separate netware client to this
faulty client.
bpclntcmd -hn <server> returns with the correct information
bp.ini is up to date and correct. nlm's have been reloaded
We enabled OTM on this particular server a few weeks ago and are questioning
if this has corrupted the images on tape.
Has anyone experienced similar issues or know of any workarounds?
