OK - I had to figure this one out since I use the GUI so rarely.

Go to "Media and Device Management" -> "Media"

Select the actions menu above, then "Inventory Robot".

On the "Robot Inventory" Tab, select "Perform volume configuration update"
and "Empty Media Access Port".
On the "update options" tab, select the volume groups for tapes inserted &
removed from the library.
Go back to the "Robot Inventory" tab & click "Start" button.

Should do it.

This is why I like my command-line.  This whole thing is one command.
