we use SuSE Linux 8.0 as master & media server for netbackup
businesserver with 56bit-DES crypto & linux clients with an
8 slot dds4 changer. all works quite well.

largefiles are not supported in netbackup under linux up to and
including version 4.5.
they will be supported in netbackup 5.0, coming out in q3/03
