Hi,
The flowers are on the client system:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------=
----------------------------------------
rsun % df -k
Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 101007 65008 25899 72% /

/proc 0 0 0 0% /proc
fd 0 0 0 0% /dev/fd
mnttab 0 0 0 0% /etc/mnttab
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s3 34335 24605 6297 80% /var

/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s1 340399 220399 85961 72% /usr/openwin

rsun % cat include_list
## backup all files under '/' in the same a mount point as '/'.=20

## backup all the files under '/usr' in the same a mount point as '/usr'
/usr
## backup all the files under '/opt' in the same a mount point '/opt'

rsun % cat exclude_list

On the Veritas server: in one class:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------=
----------------------------------------
NEW_STREAM
/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------=
----------------------------------------
If check(enable) Corss mount points in Change Attributes
The server will backup every files corss mount points on the client.
If not check(enable) Corss mount points in Change Attributes
The server only backup all the files under '/' in the same a mount point =
as '/'.
The server does not backup /usr or /opt.
So, I have to make change on Netbackup server
-------------------------------------------------------------------------=
----------------------------------------
NEW_STREAM
/
/usr
/opt
-------------------------------------------------------------------------=
----------------------------------------
This will works for backup files under '/' mount point, under '/usr' =
mount point and under
'/opt' mount point.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------=
----------------------------------------
The problm is we have over hundreds Solaris clients, a lot of clients =
need to backup=20
files under the '/' mount points and other files under the different =
mount points. I need=20
to create a lot of classes in the server. Is there some way I can do it =
to reduce the classes
in the server and backup the files clients need?
If you need more iformations, Please email to me DRSun AT lbl DOT gov.
Any help will welcome.
Thanks
Rose
