Yes - it can go onto the existing media server but as a second robot,
not a second storage unit. A subtle but important distinction. Each
robot has a robot number, and index value, and the new unit will be
another robot. The GUI, etc., should update appropriately if installed
correctly.
Watch your licensing - the old licensing method was by number of robots,
the new method is by number of drives.

I think that you jsut can add the surestore as a second storage-unit, at
least we have something simlar working on a W2K server with NBU 3.4
You will manage the robots through device and media manager GUI.

Hello everybody,
I'm using Netbackup 4.3 on a redhat Linux 7.3 with an HP Surestore Robot
and 2 tape drives. Now, i have 2 HP Surestore and i'de like to know how
I can add the second robot to my redhat box ? and how those robot will
be managed within Netbackup GUI ?
