Hi,
I belief you're using EMC BCV.
You can use the symioctl command that comes with the TimeFinder
symioctl begin snapshot <DBname> SAVEFILE <snapshot filename>
symmir -g <DGname> split -instant -nop
symioctl end snapshot <DBname>

Hi All
Is anybody running BCV (split-mirror) of a MS-SQL server.
How do you ensure taht MS SQL is consistent ?
I ask because have to backup 800 GB base without shutting it down and
there
is not enough network capacity to run a NBU SQL agent.
Any info will be appreciated.
Regards
Michael
