[Veritas-bu] Linux Clients

use the ftp_to_client install script for the client.
If you can't ftp to these linux boxes then ftp the client to a box that does
allow this, tar up the bp directory in creates in /tmp, remote copy (scp?)
the tar ball to your linux box and then install it that way.
This is definitely a shortcoming of NBU -- no real secure way of installing
the client.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Linux Clients
Hi Admins,
Master server is Solaris 6 with Netbackup 3.4 .
I'm adding three Linux clients with Red Hat Linux 7.2, 7.1, and 6.2 . My
problem is
I can't make rsh or rlogin work to install the software remotely and to
communicate
with the clients.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance :)
Dennis
