Just for reference NO_COMPRESSION disables auto-selection of compression as
well.

Put a 0 kb file in the volmgr directory named NO_STANDALONE_UNLOAD with no
file extension.  This will keep the tape from dismounting between backups.

i am in a situation where i don't want netbackup/media manager to unmount
the media after the backup. Actually what i am doing is to make 4 backups
from 2 machines ( 2 each)  on a standalone DLT tape .I am  trying to keep
the backup set of a particular server on its DLT cartdrige. ANy trick,
Media_Unmount DELAY , only delays the unmount operation. Is there any way we
can  change this behaviour??? regards atif
