You need to enable logging in ltid.
Modify your S77netbackup startup script to
run $LTID -v instead of $LTID.

Then restart ltid, stopltid, ltid -v.

ltid will then log mount/dismount/drive
events to /var/log/syslog
or /var/adm/messages, one of the two.

I seem to be having a problem with a drive that keeps going down. I have
searched through NetBackup logs and the syslog logs to try and find the
cause of this, but can't seem to locate anything useful. Where does
NetBackup log events that take drives DOWN, and is there a specific format I
should look for? I know I have found it in the past, but for the life of me
I can't seem to relocate it now.
