Hi,
Yes you can run more that one scanner for different drives at
the same time. But Make sure that you have enough drives for a backup to
run in case it a backup is kicked off before the completion of the
scanner.

This is certainly non-authoritative, but I was told several years ago by
(Sun) tech support that "it would be better not to run more than one
scanner at a time". He didn't go into detail, but from personal
experience
I've seen a scheduled backup kick off and try to use a drive already in
use by scanner (i.e., it ejected the scanning tape, etc.). Now, that was
a
few versions back, but since then I've always tried to run scanner on a
quiescent system if possible.
