Possible permissions issue, or unable to rename the file that that particular
moment?
While there is no backups happening on that exchange server, stop the NetWorker
Remote Exec Services, and rename the applogs directory. The restart. The
applogs directory will be recreated.
If it still happens, then try restarting the service using an account that has
both local system privs as well as exchange admin privs.
