You will need to login to the nas filer and get that information. If a new
filer it is most likely NDMP version 3 or 4.

Subject: [Networker] How to find out the NDMP version the EMCNAS using the NMC
Hi,
Is there any way to find out the NDMP version the EMCNAS with out logging on
to the NASfiler. I know I can find out the Legatoversion installed on a
client server. But is there a way find out the NDMP protocal version? The
Admin who has access to the NAS is out sick and I am new here and the BOSS
want to know if there is a way I can get the NDMP version.
