As Preston already wrote, the GROUPNAME.res file will be created on the first
start of the group after adding savepnpc to the backup command field of the
client.
You can also manually create the GROUPNAME.res file, but this is not
recommended because of possible problems with word wraps in the file. Also do
not use error output redirection in your pre and post scripts. Redirecting the
standard output of your scripts to nsr\applogs\GROUPNAME.log is recommended to
see the results of your scripts. The savepnpc process also writes a
nsr\logs\savepnpc.log with general status and error information.
On page 82 in the Administration Guide and Page 581 in the Command Reference
Guide you can find additional information.
