Hi,

There are three Win 2K3 servers in a cluster.

I have allocated 3 LUNs from the SAN and made those available as cluster
resource to each virtual server name.

But I have configured my devices in NMM using the physical server name

For example rd=<Physical_Sever1:X\Disk1
                   rd=<Physical_Sever2:Y\Disk2
                   rd=<Physical_Sever3:Z\Disk3

Yesterday when the backup from client 1 ( virtual instance for physical server
1 ) ran, it was successful and all files were backed up onto drive X:

Today the resources fialed over from server 1 to server 2 and backup failed
with the error.

" Waiting for one writable volumes to backup pool on physical server 1.

Do i have to specify virtual resource in the device config ?

OR

Do i have to allocate each backup LUNto the physical server instead of
allocating as a cluster resource ?

Thanks
