Also, the media dB should not have been altered ( i.e if you rebuilt 
Networker due to crash) without re-using the older bootstrap would the 
tape use scenario hold up then ?
How would newer tape technologies such as LTO  complement legato as they 
hold onboard chip to track media use.
Also, if your environment uses programs such as tek-tools etc you may get 
some more information on media use  as well.
