Hey Guys,
Can anyone comment about their experience good/bad on the below products

Sun STK VTL(falconstor)
Any other VTL/Dedup solutions
VTLs in general? Prefer VTL or adv_file?

EMC bought Avamar, which has a dedup product. I was under the (wrong) impression that Networker 7.4 will have some kind of integration with Avamar, but there is no hint about that in 7.4 rel notes or admin guide.

How do I get a copy of the NetWorker 7.4 Administration Guide? I searched PowerLink and I found the release nodes and the license manager guide, but not the general administration guide.

As far as data de-duplication is concerned, I suspect EMC will leverage its investment in Avamar by adding de-duplication into future RAID controllers. I was told at EMC World last month that NetWorker 7.4 will offer reports on individual files that could be de- duplicated, but that's all it would do in that area.
