I have posted almost enough love on this list for EMC tech support to

Today my love fest is on hold due to this PIG called Powerlink.

I have been futzing around with this thing for almost a month. Log-in
get logged out. Can't log in, am locked out. Log in get logged out
within 3 minutes and told my account is locked out. They tell me
Powerlink runs on Oracle, I disagree.

I would argue that going by my experience PowerLink runs on a
partnership of Hoover <TM> & Trane <TM> providing enterprise level
suction and blowing! That's right people it SUCKS & BLOWS at a level I
have not experienced in quite some time! Kidding aside this needs to be
fixed.

Hah! Just yesterday, I managed to log into PowerLink fine, but when I clicked on the link to add a license, nothing happened, except that my mouse got a little bit more worn out! After puttering around with the web site for a bit, I decided to revert to the tried and true old fashioned method of dealing with a company. I picked up the phone and called EMC. A very nice gentleman picked up the phone and proceeded to go through the enabler registration process verbally. And so now, all is well.

Speaking of Star Trek, EMC's PowerLink web site reminds me of the Borg. Keep it changing, never the same thing twice, always changing, never the same.

Change for the sake of change without a good reason for change ain't good!
