unloaded after a specified period. This is defined by the "Idle
device timeout" parameter in the NSR jukebox resource.

period seems to be ignored in regular tape libraries, at least that's
my experience, but it is the way I prefer things to work anyway.
How are you defining a silo here Stan? I don't think the difference
between a silo and a library is the defining factor here, just the
question of whether or not the library is shared. If all the drives are
owned by the same machine - no auto tape ejects, if more than one
storage node (or server) have drives in the library they will be ejected.
