To get the group name in the subject line, have the notification call a
script. The script can then write the output to a temp file and mail
the temp file with whatever subject you want.

For example, our server (UNIX) runs a script with the following:
/bin/cat - > $tmpfile
group=`/bin/grep "NetWorker savegroup" $tmpfile | /bin/awk '{print $4}'`
/bin/cat $tmpfile | /bin/mailx -s "$group Completion" $address

If you want different group completion reports to be sent to different
admins, this can also be accomplished in the script.

Enjoy.
Teresa

Hello All,

Currently we have about 25 groups set up broken into Prod, Dev, Unix,
windows, DB groups etc. I was hoping the functionality was there for
being able to first identify the group in the report subject field, and

secondly configure them to email out to the proper party's responsible
for
monitoring there servers backups. The other option I guess is giving
them
access to the Admin gui so they can just view details. Thanks for
the
feed back.

Thanks - Dave

Please understand that I am in a Windows environment. Below is a sample
of
the header in the email which is automatically sent to me when every
savegroup is finished. MAIL2 is the Group Name. Is this what you are
looking for?

NetWorker savegroup: (notice) MAIL2 completed, total 2 client(s), 0
Hostname(s) Unresolved, 0 Failed, 2 Succeeded.
Start time: Wed Aug 31 11:00:01 2005
End time: Wed Aug 31 14:06:38 2005
