Thanks to everyone who responded:

2 people suggested making a Knoppix CD with a built-in NetWorker client.
1 person suggested using hostdump.sh.
1 person suggested getting new backup software. (no joke)

I went with a custom Knoppix CD since my company already uses Knoppix when
restoring Amanda clients.
