Try upgrading your version of blat to 2.2.2...www.blat.net.

We've seen cases where this just fixes it.

Subject: alternative to blat

does anyone know an email (or other?) alternative to using blat to send
notifications? we upgraded to nw 7 and blat absolutely refuses to send
notifications now. we really like the simplicity of blat and would like
to keep similiar functionality. our nw servers are w2k sp4 running nw
7.1.
