True in a way, but not quite. If the st patch is at a suitable level
there is no need to do anything to st.conf in order to support the
device type. st.conf does not have any effect on block size, except if
it was REALLY badly misconfigured, which it won't be by default. These
days, just patch st up to date and leave st.conf at the default.
