You will probably have to supply the complete address for the printer
i.e. \\printserver\printer (for the Wintel world)

I use this line in my group printer field.  The share is a printer that
prints to a file.  I'm sure it would print to a real printer if that's
what you want.  
You could probably blat it to an email as well.

Honestly, I think that is a good thing.  I know others will disagree,
but My reasoning is I may not always be able to locate a hard copy, but
a soft copy in email can be viewed from just about anywhere.
