To the best of my knowledge networker can't handle schedules above 24
hours. if u wanna start a group with more than 24 hours interval u have to
schedule it outside networker and disable the group.

That's right, that's a possible way, but then i wonder why the
interval feature is present at all, if it cannot be used?
And, your solution doesn't work for the systems, which i want to
backup more than once a day... and i don't want to setup a cronjob
on the client starting a save process every 4 hours...
Besides, if i'm setting the interval to 4 hours, the Group Control
shows the correct start time, but if it's more than 24 hours, it
keeps showing the same time the very next day.
