If possible, I'd recommend that you bind at the port level of your SAN switch.
I'm assuming the following:

- The bridge is plugged into a SAN port (no intervening hubs or anything like
that).

- All the drives on the bridge are used by your backup server or storage nodes
w/in the same data zone.  Since you're using DDS, NW will coordinate the
actions.

The reason - when you need to replace h/w you won't have to re-configure your
wwnn/wwpn's and possibly incur a reboot.

We're a JNI shop so I don't know how it's done w/ Emulex HBA's.
