Just curious, but which file systems does this new Mac OS X client
support? I assume this new client will back up ufs files since that file
system is common to so many different Unix variations, but what about HFS+
files. Is it safe to assume the new client will handle HFS+ since that is
what Apple recommends for most OS X users? Will the client also back up
HFS+ disk volumes that are mounted over a network?

I am wondering if I could install the Mac OS X Legato client on a Mac that
runs Mac OS X, then mount a disk volume that has some Filemaker Pro
databases on it that are hosted on an old OS 9 system.
