Hi there. I've had a similar problem for almost two years now. I'm running a
6.2 (recently upgraded from 6.11) NT SP6a nsrserverhost, two AIT treefrog
jukeboxes, and about 15-20 clients of various types (Solaris, Red Hat Linux,
Windows 2000 Server). Basically none of the indices, nor any of the file
systems on the server, will backup, failing with a 0x193 unknown error. The
backups of the various client filesystems themselves have worked fine. I
worked with first and second tier Legato support personnel for over a year
with no resolution, until I gave up. I'm just waiting for an appropriate
time to upgrade the server to Win2K Server, and reinstall the software,
essentially starting over. If our problems are similar I'd be glad to help
by being another data point or trying any tests. Likewise, if you determine a
cause I'd be grateful if you could post a summary to the newsgroup. Good luck.
