Hi,
Save.exe are normal on your client. They are process sending data
to the backup server or storage node.
I suppose save.exe is crashing your system due to a corrupt
dir/file.
Have the following try :
Set the Client parallelism to 1 from the client's ressource
and restart the backup. You will see, one by one,
the System State:\, System DB:\, System files:\, C:\ ...
being saved. You will be able to determine which "saveset"
causes your system to crash.
Then, once determined, have a try running a checkdisk (chkdsk)
You can also, once determined, launch the save manually from
the client like using "save -s <server> -c <client> -l full -v <disk>"
and redirecting output to a file. Done such a way, you will
be able to determine which file/dir is corrupted.
HTH,
Thierry
