Hi,

My environment:

1 X IBM Rs/6000 control workstation
18 X Rs/6000 SP node with Legato as storage node
1X Rs/6000 SP node as Legato Svr
1X IBM3494 tape library (SILO)

These are running SAP. How can I minimise the down time needed to peform a
DR? I am performing a mksysb on all the SP nodes and dumping them
onto /backup of the control workstation once a week. These are being backup
by Legato onto 3590 tapes.

I understand that to restore SP nodes, I will have to do it via the control
workstation. This is time consuming as I would first need to restore mksysb
of the Legato Svr and then restore the VG I install the Legato with all the
mm and indexes and then restore the other VGs vis Legato.

Is there a faster way?

Regards,
Vincent
