 Hi,
I haven't seen any problems with file names longer
than 40 characters. But! If the length of the file
name and the path to the file together is more than
254 characters, you won't be able to back it up. 254
characters in path and file name is a limit to Win2k.
Problem is, if you share a directory on a server, a
connecting client can create a path 254 characters
long from that point in the directory tree...
