[Networker] AW: [Networker] FILE device on a Storage Node
2002-12-18 11:31:24
Hello,
that should work - at least here on our Networker Server 6.1.2 on Solaris
with a file device on one storage node it did. But you should give
rd=STORAGENODE:PATH not rd=SERVERNAME:PATH :-)

Betreff: [Networker] FILE device on a Storage Node
Environment Win2K Networker 6.2 server, two WIN2K (cluster) Networker 6.2
Storage nodes. SAN attached everything.
Is it possible to have a file type device on the storage nodes?
I got it working on the Networker Server a while ago but, can't seem to make
it work on the Storage Nodes.
I am creating a device called rd=servername:f:\NETWORKERDATA. I make a
staging policy for it etc.
Before I start pulling my hair is this even possible?
Brian
