Well, let's put it like this: It's not unusual... The
algorithm for marking each file for recover isn't,
shall we say?, the fastest in the world and can easily
take a couple of hours, depending on how many files
you select.
I suggest you look into saveset recovers 'til next
time you have to perform a recover of this size. It'll
be faster... :)
