Agreed Karlis, but just giving 644 to the pool.rrd file did not work on my 16.04 Ubuntu install.

I also had to give execute permissions to the two directories above (not sure why, but it took exactly that to show the rrd graphs). I tried several different combinations and this was the only one that would "work" on my installation. This may be a result of the backuppc directory mount residing in a user directory in my non-standard installation.

Apache webserver by default runs under www-data user, it needs read 
access to pool.rrd. Easiest solution is to add read permissions for 
others group to it (chmod 644).

My server is blocked from public access, so I was comfortable making 
this change. I would be very happy to hear anyone's comments regarding 
what type of security issue this may be -and if there is another way 
to better way to solve this.
