I run andump ; it says error processing file
/usr/local/etc/amanda/amanda.conf

If you run "andump" the computer should answer
with "command not found".
You should run "amdump YourConfig". What's the
name of your config?
Does it just stop after complaining, or did it
give more details? Is there a amanda.conf file.

Too bad we're not clearvoyant.

I read the manual(8) but I didn't find what parameter has to be changed

You did read docs/INSTALL, I assume?
