Thanks. I reread the article twice now, and come to a different conclusion,
ie case sensitive files on a Windows file system cannot be backed up with a
Windows client, except for the first file alphabetically sorted.

The solution would either be disabling case sensitivity (probably not
feasable) or backup the files over the network from another (*nix) node
(not ideal).
