Thanks for the confirmation. That is kinda what I guessed !
What a restrictive non-option. I was hoping to at least use 6-of the 12
slots !

It's an option somewhere in the library menu.

You can't. The only thing you can do is open the big door and
remove/insert
the tapes manually. The 12-slot is locked permantly. Of course, you need
to
run an audit and a checkin to update the inventory in TSM.
Don't open the door when there is activity in the library !!!!
