TSM 5.2 added the ability to do DNS lookups in the WebAdministrator. We have had several customer PMRs report degradedperformance in the web administrator after upgrading to this release. Ifyou are experiencing this problem, then add the following line to yourdsmserv.opt file and then restart your TSM server:


                DNSLOOKUP NO

        Please re-post to the ADSM listserv if this does not fix your problem.

After you upgraded your TSM server, did you run

  dsmserv runfile dsmserv.idl
