We recently upgraded the TSM client software on four Linux systems
from 3.7 to 4.1.2.0. One of the four has preschedulecmd and
postschedulecmd options specified. Scheduled backups of this system
are occasionally hanging after backing up new and changed files but
before running the command specified in the postschedulecmd option.
The Linux kernel is at level 2.2.12-20. The TSM server is at level
3.7.4.0 and runs under OS/390. Does anyone recognize this as a known
problem?
